If the 2024 election were held today, NPP would secure over 148 seats – Dr. Ayew Afriye

The Member of Parliament representing Effiduase-Asokore is Dr. Nana Ayew Afriye, expressed confidence that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would emerge victorious in the upcoming elections, emphasizing that various studies have consistently shown the NPP as the frontrunner.

He mentioned that even the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is aware of this trend. Refuting claims of bias in these studies, he referred to a foreign mission’s research predicting 148 parliamentary seats for the NPP, which he believes is a conservative estimate.

Additionally, he mentioned that these findings are independently verified, emphasizing that the actual numbers could be higher. Is it being suggested that only 11 seats will be added to the existing 137 seats?

This assertion appears implausible. In the central region alone, more than 11 are being added.
