I will reveal my entire cabinet in two weeks – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has guaranteed that the complete list of his cabinet will be revealed in the upcoming two weeks.

This statement addresses the worries expressed by Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, who has criticized the way the President is handling ministerial selections, labeling it as “tot-tot.”

While attending a unique National Muslim prayer and gratitude service at the National Mosque in Kanda, Accra, on January 10, Mahama encouraged members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to refrain from behaviors that might lead to complications for the government.

“A government is currently being established, ministers will soon be appointed, and other officials will follow. As I mentioned, we will present our complete cabinet within 14 days.

“So, there will be ministers responsible, and if you encounter any problems, you can reach out to any of the ministers to resolve them. Therefore, please be patient. Many individuals have remarked that this mirrors what the NPP claimed when they took office in 2017.

“And that is precisely why Ghanaians decided to remove them from power. We should not repeat the errors they made. I urge our supporters to conduct ourselves in an organized fashion.”
