Blakk Rasta Blasts Salifu Amoako
Reggae musician and public figure Blakk Rasta has expressed disapproval towards Archbishop Salifu Amoako regarding statements made in a widely circulated video.
Salifu Amoako, in a recently surfaced video, boasted about driving without a valid license or license plate, claiming immunity from police arrest.
He asserted that he could have officers fired if they attempted to apprehend him, citing influence over their superiors. These remarks follow an incident involving the Archbishop’s son, who was allegedly involved in a fatal car accident.
Blakk Rasta has strongly criticized Salifu Amoako for his past statements featured in the resurfaced video, questioning the Archbishop’s qualifications.
He lacks peers in an educational setting, as he has never experienced classroom learning. He acquired his knowledge through practical experience, recognizing the value of informal learning. “I anticipated that a religious leader would possess that mindset,” he expressed.
He contended that bragging about being exempt from the law does not confer superhero status, asserting, “Declaring that no law enforcement officer can prevent you from violating the law does not elevate you to a Superman status.” Living in a country without laws means that you are also without laws. If I were a member of that assembly, I would leave.”
Blakk Rasta also censured the belief espoused by certain religious figures that wealth can be acquired solely through prayer without effort.
He underscored the significance of hard work in addition to prayer.
“These are the individuals who propagate the notion that God will bestow riches upon you without any exertion. Simply rise and engage in prayer.
The benefits of prayer surpass those of work. Some believe that simply applying anointing oil will bring riches without the need for labor.
“This is a terrible situation,” he exclaimed. In a statement issued on October 14, 2024, law enforcement affirmed that the tragedy led to the loss of two lives and caused severe injuries to three individuals, including the individuals driving the Jaguar and Acura vehicles.
