“If I had the ability, I would bury you alive,” – Captain Smart

Renowned Ghanaian broadcaster, Captain Smart, has criticized Kofi Jumah, former CEO of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), for his derogatory comments towards individuals associated with the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Jumah purportedly stated that members of the NDC are “foolish and lacking wisdom,” suggesting that they only gain intelligence upon joining the NPP.

Captain Smart voiced his concern over Jumah’s derogatory remarks towards Patricia Appiagyei, questioning the rationale behind insulting her for competing and emerging victorious against him.

Smart criticized Jumah’s subpar performance as the head of KMA, despite commitments to utilize waste materials for electricity generation. He also rebuked Jumah’s comments regarding Patricia Appiagyei, claiming that she had exploited her physical attributes to gain a position under former President Kuffour.

Smart underscored that Jumah’s conduct is inappropriate, particularly given his seniority and role. He observed that Jumah has also offended individuals from Cape Coast, as captured in a video, encouraging the public to oppose the NPP because of these divisive statements.

The commentator condemned Jumah’s double standards, highlighting how he previously insulted former President Mahama, a northerner, despite Mahama’s significant contributions to the nation, such as constructing the central market. Smart disclosed that Jumah was imported from the United States, where he was employed as a taxi driver, by Kuffour and instated as KMA director.

Captain Smart emphasized the significance of engaging in critical thinking, regardless of one’s age, and advocating for unity over divisive political tactics.

He underscored the importance of not advancing personal agendas to the detriment of others.
