Nigel Gaisie shares details about Roman Fada

Founder and Leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel International, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, stated that he witnessed an offer being extended to the running mate of the Ghana Freedom Party to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race.

According to Prophet Nigel, Phillip Appiah Kubi, also known as Roman Fada, who has been selected as the official candidate by his party following the recent passing of their flagbearer, Madam Akua Donkor, was in the final stages of filing his nomination when the alleged call and offer occurred.

“Roman Fada was in front of me when a significant call came through…” [that] he should come for BIG MONEY,” he wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday, 6 November 2024, albeit without supporting evidence.

Prophet Nigel, who expressed happiness over Roman Fada’s eventual decision to file his nomination, said he took the opportunity to help him understand the need to choose the interest of the nation over the financial offer.

“I am glad I did the little I can. Congratulations in advance on your nomination, Sir. Thank you for choosing Ghana for your loyalty over the years, Sir,” he expressed in his post along with photos of himself and Roman Fada.

Akua Donkor, the Ghana Freedom Party’s founder and leader, passed away on October 28, 2024, at 72 after a brief illness.

The Electoral Commission paused the printing of presidential ballots for the December 7 election and provided a 10-day period for the party to select a new candidate after her passing.

Following an approval from the GFP leadership, her running mate submitted his nomination as the new flagbearer on Tuesday.
