Bawumia: God has bigger plans for me in the future
Vice President and 2024 Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed his unwavering faith in God’s plan to take him to new heights.
Despite losing the 2024 general election to President-elect John Dramani Mahama, Dr. Bawumia is optimistic of a better future guided by God’s plan.
During the 31st All-Night Vigil at the Lighthouse Chapel International, Dr. Bawumia: “I know and believe that God has a plan for me in the future to bring me bigger and better things.”
Dr. Bawumia also thanked God for the peaceful conduct of the 2024 general election and called on Ghanaians to be grateful.
He urged citizens to be hopeful and grateful as the nation heads towards 2025, stressing the importance of unity and a positive attitude in the coming years.
“I Thessalonians 5:18 tells us to give thanks to God in everything. I have unwavering faith in the Lord and I am grateful for what He has done for us.”
Dr Bawumia extended New Year greetings to the community and all Ghanaians.

Dr.” Bawumia was accompanied at the ceremony by his wife Samira Bawumia, NPP National Chairman Stephen Nimu and several other senior party officials.
