Zongo communities in the Volta Region unite in support of Bawumia
A number of Zongo communities in the Volta Region have expressed their unwavering endorsement of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is striving to become the next President of Ghana.
Bawumia, have expressed appreciation for his visit and engagement with them during his tour of the Volta Region. He has visited more than 10 constituencies and met with leaders and residents in the Zongo communities.
Additionally, the Vice President has made a point to engage with Clergy, Imams, traditional rulers, and the community members.
Bawumia and his team have pledged their full support for him. This was prominently shown in Kpando, Hohoe, and other Zongo communities.
“By the grace of God, you will become the next President of Ghana.” We are pleased to welcome you and offer our prayers for your assistance from God. May God elevate you.
“We stand in support and offer prayers for your success,” expressed an Imam from Hohoe during a stakeholders’ meeting with the Vice President, representing the Zongo communities.
Similarly, in Kpando, the Imam also offered prayers for Dr. XXXX’s success. Bawumia was reassured of their support, with the statement “it is a great day to have you here and we thank God for what he has done for us.”
Dr. Bawumia has made significant contributions, and now is the opportunity for us to show appreciation by voting for him using our thumbs. He emphasized, “In Kpando, the community and numerous individuals have benefited from his generosity, and we stand in solidarity with him, pledging our support.”
We stand in support of him. In Adaklu, the Chief Imam conveyed that the Zongo community eagerly anticipates Dr.’s inauguration. Bawumia for being Ghana’s future President.
“We are all eagerly anticipating his inauguration as President of Ghana,” said residents of Adaklu Zongo. In Juapong, the Zongo community expressed their gratitude to Dr. Bawumia and the NPP were commended for implementing Free SHS, which has facilitated access to education for their children.
The Chief Imam of Juapong expressed gratitude towards the NPP for their contributions to the country and specifically highlighted the benefits of Free SHS.
He also affirmed support for the NPP’s Flagbearer and acknowledged initiatives such as the Zongo Development Fund and the assistance provided to various communities.
“We seek divine intervention for your success,” prayed the individuals from Vakpo. They expressed their support for their elder sibling’s candidacy, affirming their unwavering solidarity.
There have been reports of propaganda circulating that seek to challenge your religious beliefs. “We are aware of those engaging in such activities, and we recognize that you are a devoted Muslim with a kind heart.
In Ketu North, Zongo Chiefs and Imams gathered in Dzodze on Wednesday to engage with Dr.” Bawumia.
“We commend you and offer our full support. “We are invoking Allah’s guidance for your success and ability to persevere in your beneficial endeavors for the nation,” they expressed.
