Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian dancehall artist, has exposed a different facet of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who many Ghanaians had not previously encountered, participated in a discussion with the entertainment sector.
During the meeting, Shatta Wale inquired about the NPP’s strategies for supporting young people in urban areas and disadvantaged communities. Prior to this encounter, Dr. Bawumia’s presence was unfamiliar to many.
Bawumia may have tried to respond to the question, Shatta Wale playfully requested him to answer in pidgin English, causing the entire room to burst into applause and laughter.
Mahamudu Bawumia is recognized for his use of sophisticated language, leading to high anticipation among attendees for his remarks. The NPP Presidential Candidate responded in Pidgin to the surprise and admiration of the audience.
