The Ministry of Roads and Highways has halted construction on the Kasoa-Buduburam road following the controlled rock blasting, which also caused injuries to several others.
This incident, which has generated discontent among residents and travelers, occurred during a planned blasting as part of the road expansion project in the area.
Debris from the explosion spread throughout the vicinity, causing severe injuries and significant damage to nearby properties.
