NPP will win December polls – Bawumia
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is confident in leading his party to victory in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
Speaking at a rally in Ketu North in the Volta Region, traditionally an NDC stronghold, Bawumia highlighted the achievements of the NPP government as key factors in securing a win over his main contender, former President John Dramani Mahama of the NDC.
Addressing an enthusiastic crowd, Bawumia emphasized the progress made by the NPP under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his own tenure as Vice President, claiming that their performance exceeds that of Mahama’s previous administration.
Having visited more than 200 constituencies nationwide, Bawumia expressed optimism about the NPP’s chances, stating to supporters that their accomplishments have resonated widely and will lead the party to victory.
“I have toured over 200 constituencies in Ghana and based on what I have seen, I am confident that we will win this election.” “You will be notified by midnight on December that the NPP has emerged victorious in this election.
Bawumia’s recent tour of the Volta Region, known as the stronghold of the NDC, was a strategic effort to expand the NPP’s support base and secure votes in historically weaker areas.
Throughout his campaign, Bawumia has consistently highlighted the NPP’s governmental track record as a distinguishing factor from the NDC. He has cited various policy accomplishments as evidence of the NPP’s effective governance and dedication to enhancing the well-being of the Ghanaian populace.”
