Mahama Will Still Lose After Prayers By Pastors- Prince David Osei
Actor and sympathizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Prince David Osei, has expressed skepticism regarding former President John Dramani Mahama’s chances of reclaiming the presidency.
In a statement on X, he questioned the likelihood of Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), winning the 2024 presidential election, even with the backing of influential pastors. “Even with extensive prayers and anointment from all the pastors, it is unlikely that Ex-President Mahama will secure the presidency,”
Prince David remarked, indicating the challenging road ahead for Mahama’s victory. Additionally, Prince David Osei tackled allegations against the ruling NPP, specifically those associating the party with illegal mining, known as galamsey, a contentious issue in Ghana.
He contended that the problem of illegal mining goes beyond party lines, involving individuals from both the NPP and NDC, as well as other prominent figures in the nation. “The ongoing propaganda campaign targeting the NPP, including accusations of complicity in illegal mining, is unlikely to be successful.”
The problem of illegal mining encompasses individuals from both the NDC and NPP, along with politicians, pastors, and the general public. He expressed his belief in the efficacy of his prayers and encouraged Ghanaians to carefully consider the evidence.
Illegal mining, also known as galamsey, has been a highly contentious issue in Ghana, with both major political parties receiving backlash for their response to the situation. The remarks made by Prince David Osei have ignited discussions on social platforms, with Ghanaians deliberating on the role of political interference in combatting illegal mining.
