“If the Youth are not Empowered, the nation cannot be Built” – Okudzeto Ablakwa
The Member of Parliament for North Tongu constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has emphasized the importance of empowering Ghanaian youth in order to build a stronger nation.
The North Tongu legislator, in a post on his official X page on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, emphasized the importance of empowering the youth. This empowerment, he noted, would enable them to lead a purposeful life and inspire them to actively participate in nation-building efforts.
Ablakwa stated that President Mahama has pledged enhanced empowerment programs through the National Apprenticeship Programme, the 1 million Coders Initiative, providing laptops for student intervention, waiving admission fees, offering special incentives for startups, and focusing on extensive job creation within his 24-hour economy concept.
He believes that the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, possesses the necessary qualities to improve the prospects of Ghana’s youth through innovative policies proposed by the NDC. “He stated that without empowering the youth, we cannot construct our nation.”
My beloved North Tongu’s Youth Empowerment Durbar was phenomenal!
Laptops for final year tertiary students;
Sewing machines for apprentices;
Hairdryers for apprentices;
Financial support for traders.
