Four unidentified individuals are feared to have perished in a fatal accident that took place on Saturday evening in East Legon, Accra. The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) is currently on site attempting to recover the burnt vehicles and remains, although the cause of the accident remains unclear.
Limited resources are hindering the firefighters’ efforts to extract the bodies. A video shared on the GNFS Facebook page shows the firefighters cutting through the burnt vehicles in order to retrieve the victims, with smoke still emanating from the wreckage. Specific details regarding the accident are still unknown, and viewer discretion is advised.
