Equipping Ghana’s public libraries is our top priority – Hayford Siaw
The Ghana Library Authority emphasized the government’s dedication to improving the educational sector by building additional libraries. Hayford Siaw, CEO of the Authority, stated that the government aims to encourage learning nationwide.
During an interview with Citi News after the commencement of construction for a new library in Asofan, Ga North Municipality, Mr. Siaw reiterated the government’s commitment to enhancing education through library development. Siaw emphasized the importance of well-equipped public libraries to support free education initiatives, highlighting the government’s commitment to this cause.
“A library serves as a university for all, and we are thrilled to extend our services to the residents of Ghana.” This is a top priority for the government – we aim to encourage learning and ensure free education for the people of Ghana.
“In order for free education to succeed, it is essential to upgrade our public libraries for easy access by the people of Ghana.” It is my belief that Ghanaians will trust and have faith in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s educational social strategies.
