Election 2024: KOD believes Alan will disrupt Ghana’s longstanding political duopoly.
Kwame Owusu Danso (KOD), Vice Presidential candidate of the Movement for Change (M4C), has stated that Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen offers a solution to challenging Ghana’s established political duopoly.
In an interview with Umaru Sanda Amadu on Point Blank on Eyewitness News on Citi FM, KOD discussed the 2024 elections, highlighting the growing dissatisfaction among Ghanaians with the dominant parties, NPP and NDC.
He pointed out Kyerematen as a potential leader to address this discontent and instigate genuine political transformation. “I believe that Honourable Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen is the one person who will break that political duopoly, who will break that jinx,” KOD expressed.
He shared his experiences from recent visits to Oti and Central regions, where he observed widespread frustration with the current political scenario. “The message is very loud. People are fatigued by the dominance of the two-party system. I want to emphasize that the public has grown tired of 16 years under the NPP and 16 years under the NDC. The repetitive rhetoric has become unappealing. “It feels like we are perpetuating ineffectiveness, perpetuating unmet commitments,” expressed KOD.
