Come together and vote out the ‘Bad’ NPP Government – Asiedu Nketiah
Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the National Chairman of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), is encouraging Ghanaian voters to participate in the upcoming December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections by voting for the NDC.
He believes it is important for voters to not abstain from voting, even if they were disappointed by past leaders. Asiedu Nketiah expressed this during a meeting with residents of Akwasease in the Ahafo Ano North Constituency in the Ashanti Region on Tuesday, November 5.
He emphasized that abstaining from voting can hinder the democratic process and impede progress. Asiedu Nketiah encouraged the residents of Akwasease to stay strong in their backing of the NDC, assuring them that the party’s chosen presidential candidate will fulfill his responsibilities if elected on December 7, 2024.
Nketiah expressed confusion at individuals who decide not to vote due to a government’s failure to keep its promises. It might be the case that they did not keep their promises, but this should not discourage you from voting. “If you wish to make them answer for their actions, abstaining from voting is not the solution.
They are aware that you supported their rise to power, so they recognize that you have the potential to vote against them in the future. But if you opt not to cast your vote, it grants them an edge. “Now is the moment for us to come together as a unified people and vote them out.” He mentioned their poor governance.
