Boniface Sidique believes Alan Kyerematen is the ideal leader for Ghana
“We are pleased, our fellow Northerners, to have your backing,” he started, speaking to the chiefs, elders, and residents from various backgrounds who had assembled to listen.
However, at the start of this journey, we need to exceed our personal expectations and priorities. Alan Kyerematen, especially, has shown his dedication to the citizens and is seeking your ongoing backing,” he stated, highlighting the solidarity required to achieve significant transformation in the nation.
Alhaji Boniface expressed deep concern about the declining condition of Ghana’s economy and environment, warning that time is limited. At this moment, all of our assets are being used up. The lakes and rivers are being harmed, and if no action is taken, we will need to bring in water for drinking within the next five years,” he expressed with sadness. Decisive action is necessary to secure the future. This is our stance, and it is time we stood by it firmly.”
He then emphasized Alan Kyerematen’s Great Transformational Plan (GTP), which he thinks will guide Ghana in a different direction from its current path. Alan is devoted to enhancing production and economic growth, specifically by increasing exports, decreasing imports, and increasing revenue via corporate and income taxes.
This isn’t only about politics; it’s about leadership that can create an impact,” he stated. His plan focuses on promoting economic self-sufficiency and wealth in the North by turning it into the primary food supplier for West Africa.
Boniface referenced Malaysia, a nation that used to seek agricultural advice from Ghana but has now surpassed it. Malaysia visited Ghana to study oil palm cultivation. Currently, they generate more than $20 billion each year from oil palm, while we rely on asking the IMF for $360 million in order to sustain ourselves.
Alan Kyerematen believes that Ghana has the capacity to prosper economically through significant investments in agriculture and industrialization. His vision transcends economics, seeking to transform the country’s political landscape from a winner-takes-all model to a more inclusive system centered on service and accountability.
Alan comprehends that politics revolves around serving the people, rather than exploiting them. Corruption, as per Alhaji Boniface, is detrimental to the country’s progress, fueled by self-serving leaders. He urged the public to have faith in Alan Kyerematen, emphasizing his record of integrity and commitment to honesty. Alan advocates for leading through demonstrating qualities or behaviors that others can emulate. That is why, throughout his political career, he has never been linked with corruption or leadership failure.”
Turning to Alan’s sense of urgency, Alhaji Boniface reminded the audience that Ghana cannot afford complacency amid the current challenges. It is crucial for Ghana to select a leader who will take swift action at this critical moment. We require a situational leader who can handle the current crisis and achieve lasting progress, and Alan Kyerematen is undoubtedly that leader,” he confirmed.
Finally, Alhaji Boniface thanked the chiefs, elders, and the people for their warm welcome. Our goal is to create a better future for all citizens of Ghana, and with the guidance of leaders such as Alan Kyerematen, we can work through our obstacles as a united nation. Ghana’s path towards change and success starts in the North,” he stated.
The Afrafranto Caravan Tour, growing in popularity in the Northern Region, demonstrates widespread backing for the Afrafranto Alliance’s goals. Communities come together in large numbers, even late at night, to welcome the Caravan and its message of transformative leadership spreading across Ghana.
