Clergy Meeting: Prophet strongly criticizes Mahama for conflict with Mrs. Rawlings
Former President John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Candidate, held a meeting with Religious Leaders in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region on Monday, November 11, 2024. This meeting followed a similar session in Accra and showcased Mahama’s continued initiative to connect with the clergy and discuss the spiritual and moral aspects of his campaign.
The atmosphere at the gathering was lively, with pastors and prophets showing their backing for Mahama and demonstrating belief in his chances of reclaiming the presidency. The ex-president, who wanted an open conversation, asked the clergy to share their questions and concerns about his leadership objectives.
In the meeting, Prophet Razak, a well-known religious leader in the area, brought up a topic of reconciliation that had been on many people’s minds but had not been talked about openly.
“Why have you not reconciled with Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings?” Prophet Razak inquired, mentioning the widow of the late former president Jerry John Rawlings. Nana Konadu, who was once a key figure in the NDC, departed to establish her own political party due to escalating tensions that continued to grow over time.
Prophet Razak stated that he believed he was guided by a divine force to address the issue. Mr. Smith visited the new department store to purchase a suit. He found the perfect one on sale for half the original price. Before buying it, he tried it on to ensure the fit was just right. He then made his purchase and left the store with a big smile on his face.
Mahama, despite any previous conflicts, I think you should reconcile with her,” he suggested. Failure to achieve this reconciliation may damage your reputation and impact your chances of securing a leadership position.
