On Thursday, 9th March 2023, Ghanaian Highlife legend Nana Acheampong, accompanied by his official manager Justice Oheneba Bempah, paid a respectful courtesy visit to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, at his residence in Accra.
The purpose of the visit was twofold: first, to receive the Chief Imam’s blessings, and secondly, to officially inform him of Nana Acheampong’s upcoming 30th Anniversary Celebration in Music, scheduled for 2026.
During the visit, Nana Acheampong expressed gratitude for the support he has received from Ghanaians over the past three decades and emphasized the importance of beginning this milestone journey with spiritual guidance and unity. The Chief Imam, known for his humility and commitment to peace and development, warmly received the team and offered prayers for the artist’s continued success and longevity.
This visit marks the beginning of a series of engagements leading up to the celebration of 30 years of musical excellence, a momentous milestone in the career of one of Ghana’s most revered Highlife musicians.
