Lawyer Martin Waana-ang was recognized as the top student at the 2024 Call to the Bar ceremony, where he was presented with the Mensah Sarbah Award and the Best Student in Civil Procedure Award. As the top student in this year’s Professional Law Course, Martin has consistently demonstrated academic excellence throughout his career.
A valedictorian and first-class honours graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), his achievements have garnered widespread acclaim.
While at KNUST, Martin was commended by the Lebanese Embassy in Ghana for his exceptional academic performance. His impressive academic track record continued into his legal studies, where he ranked second in the competitive Ghana School of Law entrance exams, as reported by The Law Platform. Martin obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from KNUST in 2022, having excelled at St. Francis Xavier Junior Seminary in Wa is where he received his education. Later, he attended the Ghana School of Law, where his diligence and effort led to his recent success in being called to the Bar.
